Due to the nature of my profession, I frequently find myself reflecting on life and death, on the last breath we will all take one day, as I bear witness to the final moments of many individuals’ lives. This experience leads me to contemplate the profound nature of life, death, and the inevitable last breath we all will draw one day. With lots of gratitude and a touch of philosophical reflection, I’m sharing these thoughts with you.

“Death is a day worth living” – this phrase we encounter on our journey resonates in our minds and hearts. It is a reminder that death is an inevitable part of the human journey. When my time comes, I hope to be ready. I do not wish for fear to dominate me, but rather I will embrace it with serene acceptance of my mortality. I would like to be ready and in peace; internal peace of mind and spirit.

I firmly believe that there are various ways to die, and sometimes, we can choose how we want to face this inevitable moment. Choosing to live intensely in each moment, accepting the uncertainty of the future, is the first step toward a full life in the present. No one deserves a slow departure, trapped in the crossroads of survival mode. Therefore, I urge all of us to seize the time we have and live as much as we can.

Upon my departure, I wish to rest in peace with myself and with others. And as a small contribution to the nature that has sustained me throughout my life, I would like seven trees to be planted in my name every year. May these trees grow as symbols of renewal and prosperity, as life continues its course.

So, let us embrace the fleeting beauty of existence, celebrate each moment as a precious gift, and live our lives with dignity until the last breath.
