Calling out hypocrisy, not faith.

Will God forgive the wrong we do to one another in the context of intentional wrongdoing? -I know that God forgives all confessed sins. However, the continuous intention to sin will lead us away from God. -There will be forgiveness as well as consequences. Grace and mercy are for all of us, but salvation is only for the confessed and repentant with a good heart.

“While we should never turn God’s grace into a license to sin (Romans 6; Jude 4), His grace is available when we repent of our sin. We are on dangerous ground if we find ourselves planning both our sin and our repentance. Something is amiss in our Christian life if we are relying on God’s grace to cover intentional sin rather than allowing His grace to lead us to greater levels of holiness (Romans 6:14; Titus 2:11-12).”

He has given us the power to choose righteousness (Romans 6; 8:1-4), and yet we choose unrighteousness instead.

God invites everyone to trust and forsake sins so that through divine grace and mercy they may be forgiven and collected by the kindness of a friendly father.

By God they are advised not to continue in the practice of sines and sin no more! “Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Mt 5:48). Therefore, we should as Christian, follow God steps in a constant exercise to seek God himself. Grace and mercy is for everyone, but salvation is only for the good at heart.

For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems sad and painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness [right standing with God and a lifestyle and attitude that seeks conformity to God’s will and purpose]. Hebrews 12:11 AMP

“Prayer: God we thank you for the teachable moments. We pray as a family that we would seek wisdom and live a disciplined life. Guard our hearts from temptation and help us to live out your will and purposes for our lives.”
